Sweet Cicely, key ingredient in 3 new tea blends

After an unforgettable U.P. winter, we have emerged into a wild & windy Spring. Our field of sweet cicely was the first herb to appear, and it looks like I will have an extended harvest project trying to corral the sprawing cicely bed.

Sweet cicely figures heavily into several of the new Mighty Fortress Medicinal Herbs tea mixes. Amazing Grace P.M., Seven Thunders, and Shield of Faith will be introduced here very soon! And each of these mighty teas feature sweet cicely leaves.

Meanwhile, Ken & I are enjoying the soothing benefits of sweet cicely tea as a sleep aid, and our free-ranging chickens are excited about the sweet cicely leaf treats after a LONG, snowy winter.
